Evolution I

EVOLUTION I was designed to be a very basic low cost system. However, the addition of Optional Software enhancements take EVOLUTION I from a simple system to one that rivals much higher priced hi-res large character printers meant for secondary carton coding, as well as making EVOLUTION I a viable alternative to small character DOD, continuous ink jet and laser printers.

Optimum Print Resolution

EVOLUTION I delivers bold, highly legible and fully formed characters in a print resolution of 300 dpi at production line speeds of up to 200 feet per minute.

Variable Character Heights

Print a one line message in 1/2” characters or two lines of text with the 7/32” high characters. Selecting the character size is accomplished through the font key on the hand held controller.

Standard System Includes:

A controller with 4 line x 16 character LCD with tactile keypad for message entry. A high resolution printhead module with complete mounting bracketry and internal product sensor for side coding applications.

Evolution II

EVOLUTION II is a full featured high resolution ink jet printer utilizing Hewlett Packard ink jet technology. It will look identical to the EVOLUTION I, but will feature a WYSIWYG back lighted LCD on the controller. A complete software package including message storage, time, date and sequential numbering and more will be standard on the system. Bar coding capabilities will also be built into the system. The user will access a drop down menu; select the bar code symbology desired and then enter the bar code number with the keypad. EVOLUTION II will support a wide variety of barcodes including sequential and 2D codes.

EVOLUTION LX

EVOLUTION LX is the next generation in High Resolution Ink Jet printers. The LX series delivers greater print distance and higher ink yield per cartridge with the same features as the original EVOLUTION.

Two LX Versions Available

EV1-LX-SYS starts off as a basic system that will print either one line of 1/2” high characters or two lines of 7/32” characters. No additional software is included as standard. There are a number of software options for the EV1-LX that add memory, extended message length, sequence numbering, time and date formats, and more.

EV2-LX-SYS is a fully loaded system which includes all of the optional EVOLUTION I software as standard. EV2-LX can print one line of 1/2”, two lines of 7/32”, three lines of 1/8” or four lines of 3/32”.

Eight of the more popular barcode symbologies are built into the EV2-LX. These barcodes include: I 2 of 5, Code 39, UPC-A, UPC-E, 128 B, 128 C, EAN 8 and EAN 13. Data Matrix is available as an option. Optional fonts sizes and styles are available for all both models.

EVOLUTION SC (Small Character)

EVOLUTION SC is a true small character ink jet printer that utilizes Hewlett Packard ink jet technology.  The ink used in this system has been formulated for use on non-porous substrates including coated chipboard cartons, metals, most plastics and a variety of over wrap films.

It features a complete software package with message storage, date, time and sequential numbering. Character heights range from a single line of 1/8” high to two line of print just under 1/16” in height per line. The hand held controller has a WYSIWYG back lighted LCD with tactile keypad for message entry. Plus, the controller is also compatible with our EVOLUTION I and EVOLUTION II high resolution ink jet printers.
